A Hot Dinners exclusive
What: Salt The Radish
In a nutshell: Vegcentric cafe in Finsbury Park
Summing it all up: Taking over from popular deli Wittles, this new cafe on Blackstock Road promises great coffee, homemade cakes and amazing salads
The low-down
Finsbury Park is getting a new vegetable focused cafe in the form of Salt The Radish. Currently operating as a catering company, they've bought Wittles Deli on Blackstock Road.
We know they'll be open for brunch and lunch and will also be serving high quality coffee and homemade cakes. They specialise in vegcentric, vegetarian and vegan catering, so maybe we could expect dishes like Roasted garlic hummus with cauliflower, tahini and dukkha, spinach daal with crispy onions or maybe vegan chocolate ganache with cherry and almond.
Owner Kat Halliday told us that to begin with it'll be just coffee, cake and salads working up to a hot food menu and a full refurb towards the end of summer. On the drinks front there'll be Climpson & Sons Coffee and speciality teas, and she promises homemade cakes, fresh salads with bold flavours and plenty of veggie and vegan options.
