Pique-Nique is coming to Bermondsey from the people behind Casse Croute

Fans of Casse Croute rejoice, as there's a new restaurant coming from the people behind that much-loved French restaurant in Bermondsey. Hervé Durochat has just revealed plans to open his second restaurant, Pique-Nique just across the road from the first.

Based in Tanner Street Park, they're taking over an unused building and converting it into a 40 seater cafe where they'll serve breakfast and brunch every day. The menu revolves around the rotisserie, for which they're planning some Poulet de Bresse as the centrepiece and more types of meat too. Sylvain (who is the head chef of Casse Croute and business partner) is supervising the kitchen while partner/sommelier Alex Bonnefoy and Hervé be running the floor.

When: 15 May 2017

Where: 32 Tanner St, London SE1 3LD

How to book: 020 7403 9549 (booking opens 15 May)
