The low-down
Deliciously Ella is set to open the newest branch of her healthy eating restaurants in Herne Hill.

Meanwhile, lunches will comprise of ‘plant-based salads’ (which does beg the question, what other kind of salads could there be?), plus soups, rye bread sandwiches, and cold pressed juices and smoothies to wash it all down. Kids will also be catered for with a range of healthy options like carrots and hummus, or roast polenta sticks with tomato sauce.
There’ll be plenty of her trademark Energy Balls for pudding, which you may have spotted in various supermarkets throughout the UK. If that’s not *quite* to your fancy however, there’s also more traditional desserts like cakes, muffins, and a fudgey brownie.
It should come as no surprise that following on from Ella’s famous approach to refined sugar - which is to say, total abhorrence - that there’ll be none of it present in any of the food whatsoever. And no wheat, dairy or additives either.
The Kitchen Counter follows on from Ella’s MaE Deli in Seymour Place and MaE on Weighhouse Street, and marks her first move south from W1.
