What: Patty & Bun
In a nutshell: The popular burger spot comes to Notting Hill
Summing it all up: They've been launching burger joints across town, but this is the first time that Patty & Bun have headed out west. Expect the usual fave burgers, a bar and more.
The low-down
Patty & Bun have been going from strength to strength over the past few years, gradually expanding their burger empire with new places all over east London. But now they've turned their efforts to the west, opening in Notting Hill.
You can expect the usual burgers to make an appearance, and if you've yet to try them - here's some of what to expect:
- ‘ARI GOLD’ Cheeseburger - Beef patty, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickled onions, Ketchup, Smokey P&B mayo, Brioche.
- ‘Smokey Robinson’ Burger - Beef patty, Cheese, Tomato, Lettuce, Mounds of caramelised onions, Bacon, Ketchup, Smokey P&B mayo, Brioche.
- Lambshank Redemption’ Burger - Lamb patty with coriander & chilli, Lettuce, Buttermilk baby courgettes, Pickled aubergine, Cumin aioli, Feta, Brioche.
- ‘Hot Chic’ Chicken Burger - Marinated buttermilk fried chicken, coleslaw, Pickled cucumbers, Lettuce, Smoked garlic aioli, Brioche.
On top of that, there's a new dish just for the Notting Hill set. It's "The Chicken Feast" - essentially a medley of all their fried chicken with sauces and pickles on the side – ideal for sharing.
For drinks, expect beers, cocktails and milkshakes (flavours will include lemon cheesecake, peanut butter malt, triple chocolate)
As for the layout in Notting Hill - it will seat 60 people, with counter dining space for 8 too. Plus there's a large communal table at the back that can be booked out for a burgers & cocktails party.
