Noble Rot is teaming up with Gymkhana for a special dinner

Noble Rot and Gymkhana – two of our favourite restaurants - have just announced a special one-off collaborative wine dinner to be held on Monday 27 February.Hosted by award-winning sommelier Sunaina Sethi and Noble Rot founder Dan Keeling, the dinner marks the launch of a month-long collaboration between the Bloomsbury wine bar and Michelin-starred Indian restaurant.

Hosted downstairs at Gymkhana, guests will be led by their hosts through 6-course tasting menu with the aim of dispelling the notion that curry can only be enjoyed with beer. The menu for the will feature Kalongi scallops, onion chutney and onion pakora as well as classics such as Wild Muntjac biryani with pomegranate and mint raita and Kid goat methi keema.

The dishes will be paired with wines that are explored in Noble Rot magazine, such as new wave Chablis, Jura whites and top Beaujolais Cru.The menu is priced at £140 and includes champagne on arrival, the tasting menu and wine pairing and the latest edition of Noble Rot Magazine.

For those who’re unable to make the dinner - The Noble Rot wine parings will also be available at Gymkhana throughout the month of March, as part of their regular tasting menu.
