Blending a host of wintery food truck offerings with what can only be described as a banging East London soundtrack, the Last Days of Shoreditch is back, reopening for its winter season on October 28th.
Revellers out for a bite and a boogie in Old Street will be able to fuel up for the night with a range of tasty London street food. Among others, there’ll be warming slow-cooked goodies from Pull and Punch, sticky wings galore from Wingman, and gyoza from Rainbo plus other Asian-inspired fare - great if you need a retreat after a shivery day wandering Brick Lane. There’ll be 40 covers, while those booking in for a Christmas party will be able to take advantage of seven private area capable of hosting up to 100.
Diners be able to tuck in sitting in the venue’s comfortable mezzanine, which has been freshly repurposed as a restaurant for the season. If you don’t feel like queuing, there’ll also be table service, and the whole space be kept toasty thanks to firepits and a full area covering - or you can warm up later and burn off a few calories on the dancefloor.
Although London’s nightlife has definitely seen better days - particularly in East London - Last Days of Shoreditch will be a welcome current against the tide. As well as the food, there’ll be a host of DJs, and nights curated by festivals such as Eastern Electrics and Bugged Out Weekender in “a celebration of cutting edge independent nightlife and street food.”
