The summer West London rooftop residency Pergola on the Roof has finished for the summer - but it'll be back very soon for a winter stint. They're setting up a clear weatherproof dome so you get the impact of eating on the roof without any of that pesky rain. And the look of the place is changing to reflect the seasons too, with a new burgundy colour throughout, deep-bark forest flooring, dark oak table tops and an extended solid oak bar. The look they're after is a rustic Nordic forest-scene.
As for the resident eateries - thins are switching around for winter. While Patty & Bun will continue to serve up burgers, there are three new additions. There's Danish Restaurant Snaps & Rye, Spitalfields’ very popular home style, Indian kitchen Gunpowder and Middle-Eastern and Asian gourmet kebabs Le Bab from Carnaby.
Pergola on the Roof kicks off again on 3 November for seven weeks at Television Centre - Multi-storey Car Park, Wood Lane London W12 7RJ. To book a table, go to their website.
