Holloway’s Zia Lucia supports Breast Cancer awareness with pink pizza

Holloway’s Zia Lucia supports Breast Cancer awareness with pink pizza

Yes - that really is a pink pizza. Holloway Road’s recently opened Neopolitan pizzeria Zia Lucia will launch their pink pizza this Autumn for Breast Cancer Awareness month which runs throughout October.

They've been getting a lot of praise for their 48-hour slow fermented pizza doughs, and their pink pizza is made with beetroot infused pizza dough and replaces their traditional dough through the month of October. They've teamed up with Pink Ribbon, and will be donating £1 per pink pizza sale to the charity.

As usual, you will also be able to order pizzas made on charcoal, wholemeal and gluten free doughs. Toppings are left up to you and you can choose from toppings including Nduja, Mariona - mozzarella, gorgonzola and speck ham and Vegan option La Vegana - made using butternut squash, asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes. Pizzas are priced from £7-£11 and are baked in their wood-fired oven, rather fittingly named Dante.

Zia Lucia are at 157 Holloway Road, London N7. The pink pizzas are available throughout October. Follow them on twitter @zialuciapizza.
