Bag-in-box wine taproom BIB is coming back to East London for a six month residency, following its popular pop up in November. And this time they're teaming up with chef Harry Kaufman, adding some small plates to the menu.
Founder Kirsty Tinkler has sourced a range of natural wines available by the glass and carafe. "BIB is about young fresh drinking wines," says Kirsty, "and there is no need to package them in such a carbon heavy material for a period of only a few months."
Chef Kaufman, who worked with Kirsty at Great Queen Street restaurant and went on to Lyle’s and, more recently, Rubedo in Stoke Newington will be serving up a simple menu - think fried artichokes and salsa verde, veal tartare tonnato and a take on Caesar salad with crispy lamb sweetbreads.
Wines will start from £3 a glass, bites from £2.
BIB opens 4 May 2016 at Brunswick East Coffee, Stamford Works, 3 Gillett Street, London N16 8JH . Opening hours are every Wednesday to Saturday 6pm to late. Keep up with their news on Twitter @bibtaproom
