For the second year running, The Five Star Burger event is bringing together five big names in aid of Action Against Hunger for a pretty special burger.
Launched by Tom Hunt of the newly opened Poco Tapas, the burger will have two 50 Day Aged Native Breed Patties from Bleecker St. Burger which will be topped with a trotter Cotechino made by Jackson Boxer, Comté cheese, ‘Impatient’ Rainbow Pickles from chef Elly Pear, inside a semi-seeded demi-brioche bun with Tom Hunt’s Salsa Quemada and Aioli, sat beside Bleeckers’s fries and Som Saa’s special fire-y Nam Jim Nam Som chilli sauce. And if meat's not your thing, there's the Bleecker Deep-fried Tofu patty option too.
Plus there will be Poco Tapas Rosemary and Thyme Gin Fizz and Affogato for dessert with Jude’s Ice Cream and TOMS Coffee.
It's at Climpson’s Arch, Helmsley Place, London, E8 3SB on 16 September from 6.30 and advance tickets cost £22.50.
