The latest burger bar to come to town is heading into the warren of Barbican as Bonfire opens there next week. So if you're heading to a concert and have a burger craving, it could be worth checking out on the second floor of the Barbican Centre.
It'll mainly specialise in burgers which include the Bonfire (6oz burger, lettuce, red onion, tomato & mayo - £7.45), The Kenyon (6oz burger, Monterey Jack, lettuce, tomato, gherkin & truffle mayo - £7.95) and the Spicy Pig (6oz burger, BBQ pulled pork, green chillies & sticky BBQ sauce - £7.95).
But there's spit roasted chicken too. It'll be free-range from Kent, served whole (£16.50), half (£9.25) or quartered (£6.50). Plus salads include a Kale Ceasar and there are onion rings, dirty fries (blue cheese and bacon added) potato wedges, mac and cheese and more on the side.
Shakes will be a big thing for them too. There's the PBJ (Peanut Butter Ice Cream & Strawberries), Salted Caramel and Cookies & Cream - all at £4.95 (or there are cocktails, craft been and a small wine list too). Sweets are on the American side of things, with apple, cherry and pecan pies, knickerbocker glorys and more.
Bonfire opens at the Barbican Centre, Silk St, London EC2Y 8DS on 5 August. For more, follow then on Twitter @BonfireLondon.
