Fancy having a central London picnic but without the hassle? You could always choose a ready made hamper and pick a favourite spot or alternatively let the Marriott in Grosvenor Square do ALL the work for you.
The square will be filled with deckchairs and picnic blankets while a converted Citroen camper van will be serving up the food that;s being provided by jam makers Tiptree - lemon drizzle cake, muffins filled with Tiptree jam, chocolate brownies, all butter flap jacks and punnets of strawberries. If you're a bit more organised, you can order an afternoon tea picnic in advance (£30 with fruit juice and and £50 with Champagne). That'll have H Forman & Son smoked salmon and lemon crème fraiche, beetroot loaf finger sandwiches, fruit scones with Tiptree jam and clotted cream and a selection of cakes.
