Summer's about to kick off properly (honestly, it is - don't let looking out the window fool you) and we've got a sneak preview of the latest menu from Peckham's Forzawin. All of this is only £35 (the vegetarian options are in brackets):
- White Wine & Peaches
- Grilled Octopus, Pickled Fennel (or Grilled Artichoke, lemon butter)
- Tagliatelle, Pomodoro
- Woodfired Spit Roast Leg of lamb (or Aubergines, Burrata)
- Charlotte Potatoes, Peas
- Datterino tomatoes, beans
- Almonds, olive oil, pecorino
- Grilled Peaches, Honey & Ricotta
As ever, it's all cooked on their big woodfired grill and induction hobs, and served on communal tables in their huge barn in Peckham (with the barn door open to the sun). They're also working with Les Caves de Pyrene for an all natural Italian wine list.
