Irish food writer and TV chef Clodagh McKenna is heading to London. She'll be running a three day pop-up restaurant at Selfridges showcasing Irish food. The takeover of the store's Corner Restaurant is timed to coincide with the publication of McKenna's book Clodagh’s Irish Kitchen – looking at modern Irish food.
Guests will be welcomed with Irish whiskey cocktails and canapes followed by a four-course dinner of:
- Beef & Cheese - Carpaccio of Irish Beef with Aged Coolea Cheese and Radish
- Seaweed & Nettle - Dillisk Ravioli of Frank Hederman Smoked Salmon and St. Tola, Goats Cheese with Wild Nettle Pesto
- Lamb & Nectarine - Connemara Mountain Lamb with Fennel and Apple Syrup Roasted Nectarine
- Milk & Honey - Rosewater Infused Carrageen Moss with Rhubarb and Irish Honey, Orange and Pistachio Florentine
It all sounds frankly delicious. The pop-up dinners take place on 18, 19 and 20 May 2015 at Selfridges Corner Restaurant on the second floor of the store and cost £45. Book here. [There are still a few tickets left - if you're quick]
