If you like your afternoon teas classic with a twist, you'll want to book a table at a tea pop-up coming to Burlington Arcade. For just under three months luxury bespoke dining company Cuisson in association with Laurent-Perrier are going to be putting on their modern interpretation on afternoon tea.
They've picked the right person to help them - pastry chef Hideko Kawa was Head Pastry Chef at The Fat Duck and her CV also includes time at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Helene Darroze at The Connaught. Hideko will be making her signature sweet burger, Cuisson choux pastry with caramel and candied herbs, smoked salmon cornet with caviar, scones and more.
Better still, the afternoon tea menu will be paired with Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. It all takes place inside a former jewellery shop inside The Burlington Arcade with jewellery cases being used as cake displays and the tea itself served on fine bone china from Wedgwood.
The Cuisson Afternoon tea costs £65 and includes two glasses of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. Buy your ticket here. It takes place from 8th April 2015 – Friday 26th June 2015 at The Burlington Arcade, 51 Piccadilly, London, W1J 0QJ. Keep up with Cuisson's news on Twitter @cuissonlondon
