Burgers and good deed doing - what could make for a better evening out than that? So we're right behind an event being put together by author Tom Hunt. He's invited some rather interesting folk to join forces and create the ultimate Five Star Burger, for a special one-off fundraising event.
The burger dream team are Hawksmoor, Martin Morales (Ceviche/Andina), Daniel Young (Burger Monday), Forza Win, and Hunt himself. And the good news is that this is something you can get tickets to.
The menu for the evening will be:
Welcome Cocktail - Fennel Gin Cooler (Gin kindly donated by Boxer Gin)
Charcoal-Grilled 100% Grass-Fed Beef Patty (from Hawksmoor) or Veggie Quinoa Burger (from Martin Morales)
served with:
- Lacto-Fermented Pickles (from Tom Hunt)
- Rocoto Chilli Sauce (from Martin Morales)
- Smoked Romano Pepper Salsa (from Forza Win)
- Comté Cheese (kindly donated by La Fromagerie)
in a Semi-Seeded Demi-Brioche Bun (from Daniel Young) with sides of Rosemary Chips (from Tom Hunt) and Panzanella (from Forza Win).
Tunes for the night will be provided by Martin Morales and special guest DJs.
So how do you get access to what sounds like a kick-ass event? Limited ‘early bird’ tickets are now on sale at £18. Regular advance tickets are £20 and entry will be £25 on the door. All profits from tickets sales will be donated to Action Against Hunger.
