It's about this time - when Christmas is a distant memory and it's AGES until summer, when everyone's thoughts turn to holidays. But the problem with holidays is the travelling bit - particularly if you're heading off anywhere chez Ryanair.
So why not take a trip somewhere lovely, without leaving London? That's the thinking behind the new Dine Mile High pop-up experience where they're hoping to give punters the "best bits of a weekend away - the food, the drink and the unexpected". The first destination will be the appropriately cool Gothenburg.
The food comes courtesy of ex-Moro chef Oliver Templeton who for the Gothenburg pop-up has created a four course menu which includes chargrilled elk with golden beetroot and lingonberry icecream with carrot cake crumble and licorice meringue.
Dinner with two cocktails (choose from Aperol Spritz, Mile High Martini or a Classic Negroni), departure lounge snacks and wine costs £65 or you can just head along to the secret venue in West London for £15 with a departure lounge ticket which gets you your first cocktail.
