The hipper Hot Dinners readers among you will no doubt have heard of DJ Yoda (you just have to imagine our blank faces). It seems that the venerable spinner will be taking over a restaurant in Chinatown to celebrate the release of his new album Chop Suey.
From Monday 5 November, Dumplings Legend will feature an exclusive DJ Yoda menu for three weeks with a range of special edition dishes, each one inspired by a different track featured on Chop Suey.
For example “Happy”, which is a collaboration with Boy George, is represented by Boy George's Karma Tofu Vegetarian Platter while “Sega Rip” featuring Scroobius Pip (us neither) is recreated as Scroobius Pork Belly. The album will also be on sale in the restaurant during the promotion.
Dumplings Legend is at 15-16 Gerrard Street Chinatown, London, W1D 6JE.
