John DeLucie brings New York's Lion to London at the Brompton ClubJohn DeLucie is one of the big names in New York dining circles, best known for being the original chef and partner of celeb hotspot the Waverley Inn. He's since moved onto his own endeavours, namely his restaurants the Crown in the Upper East Side and The Lion in the West Village. Now he's joining the rush of American chefs coming to show off their wares in London with a special pop-up in the normally private Brompton Club in Kensington, bringing his New York restaurant to the city.

Lion NYC at the Brompton Club will be focusing on four signature dishes from the New York Menu - with a clear American feel: 

  • Yellowfin Tuna Tartare with Dijon Emulsion and Avocado
  • Chicken Pot Pie served with Baby Vegetables
  • Mac and Cheese with Truffles
  • The Lion Burger Special Blend, featuring Pork Belly, Provolone, Smoked Cheddar, Caramelized Onion and Tomato.

Will the burger match up to fellow NYC chef Daniel Boulud's at Bar Boulud? You'll be able to find out until the end of July.
