Following on from the success of Kitchen W8 - the last joint venture between restaurateur Rebecca Mascarenhas and chef Philip Howard - the pair are joining forces for a second venture. They'll be relaunching Sonny’s Restaurant in Barnes as Sonny's Kitchen. The change will mean that Sonny's closes on 8 April 2012 for between three and four weeks for a redesign.
Sonny's Kitchen will open in mid May and will continue the journey towards more casual food that Howard (who's also Head Chef of The Square) started with Kitchen W8. The menus will be very family friendly - with lots of comfort dishes.
“Transforming Sonny’s into Sonny’s Kitchen is a timely joint endeavour – and we are thrilled to be working together on this second project, so close to both our homes!” says Rebecca.
The restaurant will be open daily for lunch and dinner, and will run a brunch menu at the weekends.
Sonny's Kitchen will be at 92-94 Church Road, Barnes London SW13 0DQ.
