They've had success only just up the road with the Chiswell Street Dining Rooms and now the Martin Brothers are opening their 10th London pub nearby - the Jugged Hare.
The restored grade II building is a gastropub with a dining area and has an open kitchen with rotiserrie and charcoal grilled food the focus. Head Chef Richard O’Connell plans a seasonal menu and as the pub will be open on Sunday - a relative rarity in the City - they'll be serving up a full Sunday roast too. If you're heading down with a larger group, you'll have the chance to order a suckling pig or haunch of venison to feast on and there will be bar snacks - pork crackling, roast bone marrow, black pudding Scotch eggs - for those with a lighter appetite.
Drinks wise, you can partake of the Jugged Hare's own house pale ale, plenty of beers on tap and an enomatic machine which will offer a good selection of fine wines by the glass.
The Jugged Hare will be open from March 9 at 49 Chiswell Street.
