Tom & Ed Martin launch their tenth pub, the Jugged Hare, on Chiswell Street

Tom & Ed Martin launch their tenth pub, the Jugged Hare, on Chiswell StreetThey've had success only just up the road with the Chiswell Street Dining Rooms and now the Martin Brothers are opening their 10th London pub nearby - the Jugged Hare.

The restored grade II building is a gastropub with a dining area and has an open kitchen with rotiserrie and charcoal grilled food the focus.  Head Chef Richard O’Connell plans a seasonal menu and as the pub will be open on Sunday - a relative rarity in the City - they'll be serving up a full Sunday roast too. If you're heading down with a larger group, you'll have the chance to order a suckling pig or haunch of venison to feast on and there will be bar snacks - pork crackling, roast bone marrow, black pudding Scotch eggs - for those with a lighter appetite.

Drinks wise, you can partake of the Jugged Hare's own house pale ale, plenty of beers on tap and an enomatic machine which will offer a good selection of fine wines by the glass.

The Jugged Hare will be open from March 9 at 49 Chiswell Street.
