Following hard on the heels of yesterday’s story about Manhattan restaurateurs heading our way, Hot Dinners now hears that hip hotel chain Thompson Hotels will be opening an 85-bedroom hotel in Belgravia next summer.
Belgraves will open at 20 Chesham Place, SW1 – just off Pont Street in June 2011. And the reason this should excite London foodies, is the fact that Thompson Hotels have a good track record of putting interesting restaurants in their hotels (such as the Blue Ribbon Sushi at 6 Columbus in New York). Their upcoming London hotel will be no exception with an 80-seat restaurant and bar planned.
