Bar Boulud London names its chef and manager

Bar Boulud London – the first London restaurant to be opened by New York celebrity chef Daniel Boulud, has named the chef and front of house who’ll be in charge when it opens at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge this May.

Heading up the kitchens is Dean Yasharian, who’s worked with Boulud for six years and was in charge of Bar Boulud in New York. Supporting Yasharian as front of house will be Stephen Macintosh, former Assistant General Manager at The Wolseley.

Commenting on his choice of staff to open in London, Daniel Boulud said: ‘Chef Dean Yasharian is a very talented young American Chef who has proven his ability with seasonally driven traditional French cooking for a demanding New York City clientele. In the front of the house, Stephen Macintosh shares my approach to taking care of guests. He’s going to be a great asset when it comes to adapting Bar Boulud’s hospitality to London’s dining culture.’
