• Italian dinner at Selfridges' Alto brings over top Michelin-starred chefs

  

  If you don't have the budget or enough days holiday to take to do a gastro tour of Italy this year, an upcoming event at Selfridges will do the job instead.

  The newly-opened rooftop restaurant Alto by San Carlo is throwing one heck of a dinner in June where the chefs from five top Italian restaurants are popping up for just one night. • Chick ‘n’ Sours is popping up in Brixton for one month

  

  South London fans of everyone's favourite fried chicken spot Chick ‘n’ Sours will, for one month, have less far to go the next time they need a fix. While the original Haggerston branch is being refurbed, they'll be popping up in Coldharbour Lane where Calcutta Street used to be.

• A Wild West cocktail bar is coming to King's Road with Moonshine Saloon

  

  The new pop-up from the people who brought us the controversial Alcotraz is coming to the King's Road from May as they unveil Moonshine Saloon, a Wild West cocktail bar. Although as before, it'll be a BYOB event (and it sounds like that's a requirement to get in).

• Norigami sushi sandwiches are popping up at St Pancras

  

  The latest food mash-up is here as Norigami is launching a pop-up based on sushi and sandwich coming together. Based on the Japanese ‘sandwich’ Onigirazu, Norigami are adding global flavours to create the following:

  • The Vegan Curry – Sri Lankan-inspired potato curry, onion and spiced pickled carrots, coriander and parsley
  • The Miso Roasted Salmon – Japanese-inspired miso and sesame seed marinated

  Wolfgang Puck does like an exclusive pop-up. Last year he brought celebrity spot Spago's to London, and he's at it again. This time, it's the turn of his Santa Monica restaurant Chinois on Main, which is coming to Cut at 45 Park Lane for a three-day stint.

  If you quite fancied the idea of trying Tom Sellers' Merry Men pop-up, but weren't fast enough off the bat to get yourself a table, then here's another approach.

• Kiln, som saa and P Franco are putting on a one night only Larb Bar

  

  Later this month, Soho hotspot Kiln is going to become the centre of London's food universe with a collaboration that's bound to have folk queueing round the block. They're teaming up with Clapton bar P.Franco and Shoreditch's som saa to become a standing-room-only Larb Bar for one night only.
