    The team behind much-loved London restaurants Galvin have launched HOP in Spitalfields market. Opening in place of Galvin Cafe a vin, Galvin’s HOP will swap wine for beer bringing fresh Pilsner Urquell Tank Beer (served in the same style as at Duck & Rice), a range of craft beers, wine on tap by OW Loeb and an entirely new menu featuring classic pub dishes as well as a range of premium hot dogs.

    From bread and wine to beef and beef - Kentish Town has a new restaurant on the way. Beef & Brew is taking over the former Pane Vino site on Kentish Town Road. And while its focus will be beef, this isn't a high end steakhouse, think more Flat Iron with an emphasis on cheaper cuts such as rump, onglet and the good old flat iron.

    The progression of central London trends out to the burbs continues with news that Crystal Palace is about to get a sourdough pizza and craft beer restaurant. Four Hundred Rabbits will serve up sourdough pizzas featuring Fior de Latte Mozzarella, San Marzano Tomatoes and topped with all manner of UK artisanal produce. Think British charcuterie or slow smoked rare breed brisket.
