Northern Thai restaurant Talad pops up in Chelsea

It's not often we have an interesting restaurant opening to tell you about down in Chelsea, but new Thai spot Talad seems to be a welcome exception. It's what's being dubbed a 'perma pop-up' so the idea is that owner/chef Natalie Tangsakul has six months to prove herself to the good folk of Chelsea (and her landlord). If she succeeds, she'll get the place permanently.

Bad news from Mayfair this morning as details are filtering in about the shock closure of Michelin-starred restaurant The Square yesterday.
