London's love of sourdough pizza shows no signs of slowing down. After the success of their first restaurant in Crystal Palace, the team behind Four Hundred Rabbits are bringing their sourdough pizza (made from their own starter, natch) and beer joint to Nunhead.

It looks to be a very similar set-up to their previous place, with an emphasis on quality pizza made with expertly sourced ingredients, and a rotating menu of beers. With their proximity to hipster haven Peckham, you can be sure of encountering some exciting new labels. We’ve had a sneak peek at the menu - here’s what caught our eye:

  • The sweet and sour pickled cucumbers appetiser
  • Courgette, garlic, pine nuts, feta, mozzarella and thyme pizza
  • Iberico chorizo, pickled chillis, tomato, mozzarella and basil pizza

Your dessert options are covered by Gelupo gelato - so if the weather holds you could be enjoying some rustic Italian south of the river very soon.
