While he works towards opening up his Shoreditch restaurant, MasterChef winner Tim Anderson is continuing to do pop-ups to help hone the eventual menu when it opens.
He's just announced details of his next event - this time it's in London Fields at The Prince Arthur, London Fields at 7pm on the 26th and 27th of March.
Tim will apparently be serving up six umami-laden courses for what sounds like a bargain £29 per person, including:
Hitomoji Guru-guru
Blanched spring onions, wrapped into bundles, served with a sweet miso dip
Iwashi Mentai
Grilled sardines stuffed with mentaiko (chilli-cured cod roe)
Rafutē
Pork belly braised in soy sauce, brown sugar, and awamori (Okinawan rice whiskey)
Mini Nagasaki
Chanpon Noodles in chicken-pork-seafood stock, topped with stir-fried shellfish and vegetables
Yuzu-Koshō Chicken Yakionigiri
Crunchy grilled rice balls stuffed with spicy citrus-rubbed chicken
Mojiko Roll Cake
Black sesame sponge, banana custard, fresh fruit, and green tea whipped cream
If you've ever tried to get tickets for any of the Nanban pop-ups you'll know they sell out fast. Book your place now by contacting Amy at ETM Group on amy@etmgroup.co.uk or call 07872 456 550.
