Chef patron at the Michelin-starred Roussillon, Alexis Gauthier, has left his Pimlico restaurant to open up his own place in the heart of town, with French cuisine in the marvellous setting of this Georgian townhouse.

"While not groundbreaking in style or content, there's no doubt that Gauthier is a worthy addition to the motley collection of bars and restaurants of Soho, and it would be very mean to dismiss the food there based just on the rather staid and uncomfortable atmosphere in its upstairs dining room."
