Latest critic review: November 14, 2015
Critics' score: 8 out of 10

This is a restaurant from Fortnum & Mason and it's taking the place of the Fountain brasserie that's been open for 60 years. That has been rechristened as 45 Jermyn Street along with a complete revamp and they're going for a restaurant that recaptures "a golden age of glamour".

"For what it's worth, this place, right in the shadow of Regency England's foremost dandy, provides good value for money – even in St James's. And that's saying something." READ REVIEW

"It is not over-ambitious. But what it does it does well. It's one of the best new London restaurants of 2015." READ REVIEW

"There’s a lovely touch here where, after choosing Beluga, or perhaps Golden Oscietra, a man trundles over with a trolley of baked baby potatoes and sour cream and a set of scales to weigh the caviar, before whisking up scrambled eggs on a tiny hot plate. Absolute gold-standard, old-school joy." READ REVIEW
