Yauatcha launches new bar and menu at Broadwick Street

If you're around Soho this summer, it might be worth popping down to Broadwick Street where Yauatcha has made a few changes.

The first thing to talk about is the opening of a new ground floor bar area - at the back of the current tea house. There's a new wine and cocktail list to go with the bar, so how about starting your evening with a Thea martini, a mix of bison grass vodka with apple juice, ginger and chilli sugar or a Lam Peak martini, made with gin, pineapple, basil, passion fruit and vermouth?

To entice you downstairs to eat, executive chef Tong Chee Hwee's added no less than 28 new dishes to the menu, which he says take it back to the 'delicate, modern dim sum' that Yauatcha first made its name with. These include strip loin of beef with enoki mushroom cheung fun, prawn and cuttlefish mei-si roll, lobster dumpling with tobiko caviar and steamed prawn and mung bean vermicelli in black bean sauce.
