The Ivy Soho Brasserie is their new all-day brasserie

The Ivy Soho Brasserie is their new all-day brasserie

The Ivy are continuing to open up brasseries all over London and this latest, the Ivy Soho Brasserie on Broadwick Street, is a little closer to the flagship original.

It’ll be a seven day a week affair and is aiming to be a friendly all-day dining option for nearby business owners as well as the usual mix of residents, shoppers and tourists.  The Ivy Soho Brasserie will be split up into the main restaurant, a bar and an outdoor seating area inspired by the terraces of Paris, and will be able to seat whopping 200 people.

They’ll be dishing up around the clock too - breakfast, and brunch on the weekends, plus lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, dinner and cocktails, which are getting plenty of the spotlight.

And deservedly so - even those who normally shy away from the stronger stuff might be tempted by some of the offerings, like the Social Smoker which comes with rare breed Bulleit bourbon, which comes fat-washed (ie. infused with meat flavours) with the Ivy’s house blend of Vermouth, Angostura bitters and liquid smoke. Or there’ll be the sweeter sounding Espresso Martini with homemade vanilla vodka, Expre Tossolini espresso liqueur, and a shot of freshly brewed stuff for good measure.

If you plan to eat, then the all-day menu packed kicks off at 11.30am with eggs Benedict, Royale and other breakfast treats until then. From lunch time on, you'll be able to choose from classic Ivy dishes like their brioche-crumbed chicken Milanese with fried hen’s eggs and black truffle, or the melting chocolate bombe dessert, which comes with milk foam and hot salted caramel sauce.

The Ivy Soho Brasserie opens at 26-28 Broadwick Street, London W1F 8JB on 7 February 2017. Follow the Ivy Soho Brasserie on Twitter @ivysohobrass
