We've had rainbow cakes, bagels and, more recently, rainbow cheese toaties. Now make way for the newest take on the multi-hued trend, rainbow Xiao Long Bao. These rather beautiful (and SO instagrammable) looking soup dumplings are now on the menu at Shikumen in Shepherd’s Bush.
They are as follows:
- Yellow (coloured with carrot) - Chicken and Cheese (£6.20)
- Green (coloured with spinach) - Crab (£7.80)
- Pink (coloured with beetroot) - Szechuan Spicy Pork (£6.20)
- Black (coloured with bamboo charcoal)- Lobster and Truffle (£8.80)
If you want to try all the colours of the rainbow - you can order a 5-piece selection of each colour (including the original Xiao Long Bao with Minced Pork) for £12.80.
