For a city with a whacking great river running through it, London is pretty poorly served with riverfront bars. So we're relatively excited to hear about the OXO Tower's plans to launch a new bar this November.
The current bar sits behind the restaurant and away from the river. This new bar will boast its own stunning views over London and St Paul’s. We particularly like the sound of the reservable three curved booths, each seating six with uninterrupted views over the Thames.
The new bar will also feature a new cocktail list 'with a particular nod to artisan and epicurean drinks and aperitifs.' Apparently the staff have been busy over the summer creating their own tinctures, bitters and cordials such as rosehip syrup, sloe and damson gins, brandied cherries and elderflower cordial. As for food, the new bar menu includes the usual shared platters and steak sandwiches.
The new OXO Tower bar will be open mid-November.
