We're looking forward to the opening next week of Opera Tavern, the new Covent Garden offering from the people behind Salt Yard and Dehesa, particularly now we've found out it will open with a soft launch promotion.
Diners at the restaurant in Catherine Street will receive 50% off the cost of their food bill between opening day on Thursday 20th January and Sunday 30th January.
Opera Tavern, like its stablemates, will serve up tapas-style dishes inspired by the flavours of Spain and Italy. The menu's been put together by executive chef, Ben Tish with Jamie Thickett heading up the kitchen. A quick squiz at the menu shows that burger-lovers will probably want to try out the Iberico burgers - which according to a spokesperson will be 'cooked medium rare, like a red meat-meaning it is particularly tender and flavoursome'.
