Neighbourhood restaurant The Juniper Tree to open in Belsize Park

Neighbourhood restaurant The Juniper Tree to open in Belsize Park

Tuck into classic British dishes made with organic ingredients in the cozy north London haven of Belsize Park this winter when the Juniper Tree opens.

They’ll be serving dishes with a focus on provenance, with a modern twist - appetisers will include a game terrine, updated thanks to the addition of the pear and saffron chutney, while the West Mersea oysters are given extra oomph with a shallot and Cabernet Sauvignon dressing.

Mains veer slightly back into more tried-and-tested Sunday lunch-style dishes, with plenty of winter-friendly dishes that sounds more than suited for helping frosty north Londoners beat the chill. There’ll be a roast chicken breast with pork, sage and onion stuffing, a pie with shin of beef, chestnut mushroom and ale, or for veggies, a wild mushroom risotto with Parmesan crisps. The dessert menu’s also packed with classics there’ll be a Medjool date sticky toffee pudding, a chocolate fondant or a cheese course.

And on top of that, it's 100% organic and that everything in the restaurant is organically sourced.

The Juniper Tree opens on 26 November at 72 Belsize Lane, Belsize Park, NW3 5BJ. Follow the Juniper Tree on Twitter @JuniperTreeLDN and Instagram @junipertreeldn.
