Jamie Oliver’s empire building continues apace with the news today that his Jamie’s Italian chain is to open a massive new restaurant in Islington. The new restaurant will be just a stone’s throw from the first restaurant Oliver opened, Fifteen.
Managing Director Simon Blagden described the restaurant’s site, which takes up pretty much the whole corner of the building on the intersection of Pentonville Road and St John Street as ‘perfect’ and said the team were ‘looking forward to making it one of our most beautifully designed restaurants’.
The Islington site will open this summer, along with two other new Jamie’s Italians in Westfield and Threadneedle Street.
