Made of Dough gets a permanent pizzeria in Peckham

Made of Dough gets a permanent pizzeria in Peckham

What: Made of Dough

In a nutshell: Top Italian pizzas with sixty-hour fermented dough, cocktails and seasonal sides

Summing it all up: Legendary pizzeria Made of Dough is the latest to make the jump from temp to perm when it moves into its first proper home in Peckham. Expect all the classics, plus some new pizzas and a bar serving gelato milkshakes...

The low-down

Big news for Peckham - busy Bellenden Road is about to be the site of Made of Dough’s first permanent site.

After starting out life in the back of a Land Rover at festivals, and a stint in a Brixton shipping container, Made of Dough will now be dishing up all their pizza favourites to hungry South Londoners in Peckham.

You can expect all the usual classics made with their sixty-hour fermented dough, including the piquante Brindisa Chorizo with peppers, san marzano tomatoes and fior di latte, and the salty Anchovy with black empeltre olives, capers, plus some brand new ones - we’re particularly intrigued by the Merguez collaboration with local butcher Flock & Herd...

Plus there are seasonal sides, and excitingly, a separate bar area to get your boozy fix. There’ll be Amalfi Lemon Bellinis, Cointreau Espresso Martinis, and Gelato milkshakes, including, and we quote, the ‘Jackpot Motherf***ing Peanut Butter shake’.

“Shit just got serious,” says co-founder Ed Sandeman.

Made of Dough will be open all week long until 10.30 every night, with monthly music and wine nights on the cards as well. AND 50% off bottles of booze every Monday.
