To add to our growing list of Christmas markets around London with a decided food bent, we've just heard about Circus 11 which launched yesterday in Shoreditch and will run until 18 December. It's ostensibly a fashion market, held at the Tram Shed, but in addition to a lot of lovely clothes there are some cutting edge food stalls as well.
On the traditional front there'll be a Christmas bakery and cafe hosted by Lily Vanilli and a pop-up shop by Cookie Girl but there's also a Bloody Mary bar by Little Devil Spices which will also have Prosecco cocktails, a spicy cider and mulled wine stand and - our favourite - a nitrogen ice cream and hot chocolate food experience by the Blanch and Shock culinary wizards. They'll be serving up 'seasonally inappropriate but nonetheless festive' treats and frozen desserts from their micro-nitro milk bar including hay and honey flavour ice-cream.
