Ex Hedone chef Lee Skeet sets up residency at Hackney Empire

Now this looks like an interesting residency - on for four weeks only. Lee Skeet was head chef at Hedone and has also worked with Marcus Wareing and Tom Aikens before that. It's his second residency since popping up at Carousel and this one will be all about fish. The menu will change depending on the day's catch, but the draft one does look pretty good indeed:

  • Baked oyster, bone marrow and parsley
  • Tartare of razor clams and cuttlefish, apple & herbs
  • Barbecued mackerel, cockles, cucumber and seaweed
  • Roast turbot, olive oil poached greens, crab sauce
  • Cherry and pistachio

All that comes in at £38 per person, and you can book now.
