Doughnut lovers celebrate - Crosstown is coming to Piccadilly

Doughnut lovers celebrate - Crosstown is coming to Piccadilly

What: Crosstown

In a nutshell: Sourdough doughnuts and nitro cold brew

Summing it all up: Crosstown are squeezing in a third new opening this year, going back to its roots in Piccadilly to distribute its gloriously glazed sourdough doughnuts and cold brew coffee to its fans. Plus, they’ve launched three new flavours just for the occasion, and they sound *amazing*.

The low-down

We love a doughnut or five here at Hot Dinners, particularly when they come in dreamy flavour combos like yuzu and matcha, or strawberry and elderflower. Serious cause for celebration, then, that there’s about to be another Crosstown, this time in Piccadilly, who’ll be serving up exactly that along with a selection of coffees.

To celebrate the launch, they’ve come up with three new doughnut flavours they’ll be rolling out across all their shops during September: Boysenberry and Apple, Strawberry & Elderflower and Yuzu & Matcha (which is somehow vegan!). We’ve seen some photos, and rest assured, they look very bloody good indeed. The new flavours will be available on rotation, available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re not yet familiar with Crosstown, they opened in 2015 in Picadilly, not too far from the site of the new restaurant with their homemade doughnuts and coffee, before spreading to Shoreditch, Camden and Victoria, as well as markets around the capital.

Soft launch offer: On 8 September, Crosstown will be giving away mini doughnuts with every purchase for the first  200 folk in through the door, and serving coffee for £1 until 22 September.
