Daniel Boulud cooks up Normandy cuisine at Bar Boulud London

Daniel Boulud cooks up Normandy cuisine at Bar Boulud London

For the next few days Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud is over in London cooking at Bar Boulud London. Boulud is in town serving up a personal menu to mark the occasion featuring dishes from his new book DANIEL... my French Cuisine. Both book and menu take inspiration from the Normandy region of France.

The three course menu cost £40 which includes a glass of Eric Bordelet Sidre Brut NV. For that you get

  • Soupe de chou-fleur - cauliflower & mussel soup with white wine, saffron, croutons
  • Gigot d'agneau - garlic studded leg of lamb with artichokes, watercress, herbed jus
  • Tarte Normande - apple custard tart, calvados chantilly and vanilla ice cream

Having worked our way through the menu this lunchtime, all we can say is try and get a booking while you can. The place was rammed today so you'll probably need to book.

Daniel Boulud is cooking his Menu Normand at Bar Boulud London from 25-27th October 2014. To book call 0207 201 3899. You can order the book DANIEL... my French Cuisine from Amazon or at the restaurant. Find out more about Bar Boulud
