They're already in Shoreditch and Camden and now Cottons is getting ready to bring a dose of Caribbean food to Notting Hill too. It'll be a similar style to the others, with LOTS of rum behind the bar - over 300 types available and steel drum music in the evenings too.
As for the food, they've brought in Head Chef Ross Sloane who comes with a high pedigree - with two AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand at Kota Restaurant in Cornwall. His food will have a sustainable and foraged approach too. Expect plenty of jerk chicken, curried mutton, ackee and salt fish and lots more. It'll be the flagship restaurant so expect new things on the menu too.
Cottons Restaurant and Rhum Shack opens in April at 157-159 Notting Hill Gate, London, W11. For more, follow them on Twitter @cottonsldn
