Caravan are opening a roastery, cafe and shop north of King's Cross

So this is going to bring joy and happiness to a lot of caffeine-deprived folk. Popular coffee-based business Caravan, who currently have restaurants in Exmouth Market and King's Cross, are opening their own huge roastery, north of their KX site.

Caravan Coffee Roasters will feature its own brew bar and cafe serving up all manner of baked goods like their popular 'morning bun' and chocolate espresso brownies, plus daily changing filter and espresso coffee and coffee sodas. You'll also be able to buy coffee to take home with you.

It sounds like a big operation and the Victoria warehouse it's taking over will have a roof garden and space for them to make their own cold-press juices, house tonics, sodas and cold brew coffee in house. It's a long way from their original space in EC1 when they used to roast beans in the basement.

If you're a total coffee nut, you'll also want to know they'll be holding coffee workshops and talks for the public.

Caravan Coffee Roasters will open in September 2016 at Lamb Works, North Road, London N7 9DP. Opening hours will be daily from 9am to 5pm. Keep up with their news on Twitter @CaravanRoastery
