Ahi Poké seafood restaurant comes to Fitzrovia

Ahi Poké seafood restaurant comes to Fitzrovia

So Poke's DEFINITELY a thing at the moment, as there's another restaurant specialising in the Hawaiian fish dish on the way. Ahi Poké is on the way to Fitzrovia with Poké and more on the menu.

The vibe they're aiming for is "simple Hawaiian beach shacks crossed with the laid back poké bar vibes of LA" LA is where owners Jeremy Coste, Gabriel Cohen-Elia and David Bellaiche researched the idea - they're also the people behind North Audley Cantine and the downstairs bar Chez Chow. As for the bar itself...

The main draw will be the Poke Bowl. For that, you can choose a base (quinoa, sushi rice or red kale), protein (ahi tuna, the fish mainly used in poké, sea bream, salmon or marinated mushrooms), sauce and toppings. They do have signature bowls - one includes ahi tuna, sushi rice, scallions, red onion, black sesame, avocado, furikake, sesame shoyu at £11.

And there will be soft drinks to go with. They'll have homemade iced teas and specialist non-alcoholic beverages imported from America.

Dessert will be courtesy of the soft serve machine. And everything will be available to eat in or take away.

Ahi Poke will be opening at 3 Percy Street, London W1T 1DF in June 2016. For more, follow them on Instagram @ahipokelondon
