Uber Eats teams up with two Michelin-starred Ikoyi for a two-night delivery menu

Uber Eats teams up with two Michelin-starred Ikoyi for a two-night delivery menu

Uber Eats is having another team-up. They've done this before, once with highly-rated Ynshir, which allowed you to order from the highly-praised Michelin-starred restaurant without having to trek up to the ends of Wales. There was also the Brooklyn Beckham delivery but maybe the less said about that one the better.

This time, it's a team-up with two Michelin-starred Ikoyi restaurant, whose chef Jeremy Chan is preparing a five-course menu for delivery for £60. That's not a bad deal at all for Ikoyi, where the cheapest set menu in the restaurant costs £200. If you manage to secure yourself a delivery slot, the meal will be made of:

  • Mutton Merguez & Green Goddess Slaw
  • Fried Chicken, Smoked Scotch Bonnet & Raspberry
  • Jollof Rice & Crab Custard
  • Suya Tamari Pork, Mustard Greens & Kumquat
  • Flower Sugar Cake, Batak Berry & Garigette Strawberry

There are a few of their signatures in there, so if you've ever wanted to try Ikoyi but the normal price seemed a bit out of reach, this will be a perfect opportunity. There's drinks pairing too an extra £25.

However, you'll still have to get one of the coveted delivery slots. The menu is being delivered for two days only, and the first day will be for Uber One members only (although you can join that on a free trial to start with).
