Their most recent opening was in Paddington and although Temper are staying in the west for their next, it's going to be quite a different beast. They're taking the lead from their cheeseburger taco and pivoting into actual burgers to open Temper Burger.
The new restaurant will be mainly about double-patty smash burgers with options including:
- Temper smashburger - Brioche bun, two aged beef smashed patties, fresh chillies, green sauce, smoked raclette cheese, pickled red onions, burger sauce, tomato, lettuce
- Kimcheese smashburger - brioche bun, two aged beef smashed patties, smoked raclette cheese, chipotle sour cream, kimchi onions, bbq sauce and sesame seeds
- The Big Smoke smashburger - brioche bun, two aged beef smashed patties, smoked brisket, American cheese, house pickles, lettuce, burger sauce
They'll also have a sloppy joe (featuring minced beef cooked in spices topped with smoked raclette cheese, crushed crispy tortilla chips) and a crispy chicken burger.
On top of the burgers, they'll have skinny fries, beef-fat chips and beef-fat potatoes. And if you want to go all-out, they have their chilli cheese fries which comes with a mini-raclette burner and are topped with bourbon pickled chillies, confit garlic and crispy shallots. On top of that, there will be aged beef nachos, beef fat cornbread and crispy pork belly bites.
As for dessert, the spicy chocolate fondue seems to be the one to go for, dunking marshmallows at your table. There's also a Brigadeiro cookie and milk ice cream or some of their drunken desserts, like coconut sorbet and tequila.
Temper Burger will open in White City. They happen to be taking over the space from another burger purveyor, Patty&Bun who closed their doors earlier this year. As for all that beef, Temper will be sourcing their meat from a single Yorkshire supplier with regeneratively managed estates, and it will all be butchered and aged in-house too.
