TĀ TĀ Eatery's TOU returns, bringing sandos to Borough Market

Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng of TA TA Eatery are bringing back their spin-off TOU, this time as a residency in Borough Market.

They're taking over the upstairs room at the Globe Tavern, which they're pitching as a "1970s Japanese Americana-inspired sando bar". Previously seen at the original incarnation of Arcade Food Hall, they'll be bringing their truly great Ibérico Pork Katsu Sando. That's an Ibérico pork neck cutlet with cabbage, raspberry sauce and xo shallot sauce in a toasted brioche sandwich. We've tried this before and it's amazing - so if you haven't had the chance yet, you'll need to try it here.

In addition to that world-class sando, they'll have skin-on fries with "house sprinkles" on the side and a Coffee & biscuits sundae to finish. That dessert is made from homemade coffee ice cream with Biscoff, creamy mascarpone custard and cocoa powder.

As for drinks, there will be plenty of natural Pet Nat fizz available, as well as a further 40-odd bottles of natural wine on their list from Stefano Cazzato, formerly Hakkasan and Bar Crispin.
