It's been a while since we've seen the last Kricket restaurant opening, over in White City in 2018, but they're now getting ready to open more.
The first of these will be in Canary Wharf, opening in the North Dock area (close to the Elizabeth Line station there). If you're unfamiliar with Kricket, they describe themselves as "modern Indian restaurants combining British ingredients with the flavours and aromas of India." They originally started out in a container at Pop Brixton and have gone on to ever bigger things since then.
As for the food, we don't know what new dishes will be added to the menu, but expect classics like their samphire pakoras and Keralan fried chicken.
They've also had success with their Soma cocktail bar, which opened next to Kricket in Soho. They'll be opening another one of those next to Kricket in Canary Wharf, albeit "reimagined" from the original.
We'll have more news closer to the opening.
