Salt Yard have brought Mediterranean tapas to Borough

Salt Yard has brought Mediterranean tapas to Borough

Salt Yard are growing again. They only recently expanded to Westfield and now the latest Salt Yard has opened in Borough.

As with their previous openings, it's a combo of Spanish and Italian tapas in a venue that's decked out with lots of exposed brickwork. The two-floored restaurant and bar has high tables if you're popping in for a bite and a drink, more bar space downstairs too and traditional and booth seating throughout.

As for that menu, to give you a taste, it includes:

  • Lamb pintxo, smoked ricotta, tarragon & caper pesto
  • Wild seabass crudo, coriander aguachile, brown crab & avocado
  • Coal roasted cauliflower with romanesco & pickled sultanas
  • Roasted garlic and courgette flower with goat’s cheese and fermented honey
  • Salted caramel custard tart with cherry and milk gelato

With this and the recently opened Barrafina (not to mention nearby Brindisa) Borough's looking particularly well serviced with good tapas spots.
